The membrane tank functions as follows: after the installation of the system and connection to the power grid, the pump turns on and starts pumping water into the water chamber; at the same time, the volume of air in the tank's air chamber decreases by the amount of the incoming volume of water into the tank. As the volume of air decreases, the pressure in the membrane tank increases. After the pressure in the diaphragm tank exceeds the shut-off pressure of the pump previously set on the pressure switch, the pump turns off and remains in the disconnected state until the pressure in the system drops as a result of water sampling (water is supplied to the consumer directly from the diaphragm tank), after which the pump turns on again, etc.
